Lasik Eye Surgery Made Me a Better Hockey Player!

If you’re considering Lasik eye surgery, this may be one of the best decisions you make for yourself.  Your eyesight is arguably your most important sense, and if you’re nearsighted or farsighted, you could actually be putting yourself in danger by not correcting your vision problems.  For myself, I had my own reasons to consider Lasik surgery and am happy to say that it actually made me a better hockey player!

 Any fan of hockey knows that the game moves incredibly fast with little time for players to squint and focus on the moving puck.  In baseball you have time while the ball is in the air to focus your eyes, and a basketball is large and orange and easy to follow.  Not so in hockey!  The game requires quick reflexes and the ability to find the puck easily, and precise aim to pass it to another player or get it in the net.  You also need to be able to see the lines on the ice clearly so you don’t face time in the penalty box.
